A base salary plus an uncapped, formula-driven bonus, with a partnership pathway for those who want it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>InteleK<\/strong> is seeking an accredited valuer to join us as a <strong>Selling &amp; Signing Valuer (&ldquo;SSV&rdquo;)<\/strong>: a US-based, business-development-led role centered on generating new clients, building on our existing relationships and leads, and signing the opinions of value you win. Throughout this document, <strong>SSV<\/strong> means the Selling &amp; Signing Valuer. This role demands a genuine valuation technical expert who can independently sign and execute complex engagements, with the judgment and credentials to stand behind every opinion delivered.<\/p>\n\n<p>Compensation is a <strong>base salary plus an uncapped, formula-driven bonus<\/strong>, so you have stability while you build and real upside as your book grows. The role suits a valuer who wants to own client relationships and business development rather than work inside valuation models and report templates (our analyst team handles that).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Partnership, if that is what you want.<\/strong> For the right person at the right stage of their career, there is a clear pathway into our partnership at an equity level, assuming you hit a 12-month performance threshold that we define together during the interview process. We think that is a compelling reason to join us. It is not compulsory: if you would rather focus on building and running your own book with us without moving toward equity, say so early and we will structure things accordingly.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Accreditation: ABV preferred<\/strong>, as it aligns with Andrew and Ryan and with the AICPA standards we work to. Other accreditations (ASA, CVA, CBA) are equally welcome. If you hold no accreditation today that is also fine, provided your skill set means you could obtain the ABV and you are open to doing so, which we will pay for.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Genuine expertise in at least one of:<\/strong> fairness opinions, ESOPs, litigation-focused valuations, SPACs and De-SPACs, or PPAs. We mean real years of doing the work, not passing exposure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alongside that specialism, comfort with the conventional purposes we handle day to day:<\/strong> the various tax purposes, financial reporting and other compliance work, transactions, and strategic or exit planning. You should also be very comfortable with complex cap tables of all types.<\/li>\n<li>You value working remotely (we are fully remote) while still enjoying in-person work to generate business.<\/li>\n<li>A preference for relationships, communication and business development over only executing and defending opinions of value.<\/li>\n<li>Either an existing book of business and relationships, <strong>or<\/strong> a clear, documented business plan and cash-flow forecasts on how you will achieve this with us. We are genuinely open to candidates with no book on day one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digitally native at all levels<\/strong>, from Google Workspace to managing various IT, AI and LLM platforms. This matters to us more than ever: expect an in-depth discussion in the interview process about everything to do with AI and LLMs, and how you put them to work.<\/li>\n<li>Desire to generate business and dominate your local area as an accredited valuer, with a compensation structure directly linked to that performance as a formula (i.e. not subjective).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be the client and engagement lead, meeting (primarily digitally) with prospects through to scoping, closing, and the client management that follows.<\/li>\n<li>Own the valuations you close. In this role the SSV will spend limited time building reports and templates; rather, as the senior signing valuer you will review and sign the work, leveraging our analyst staff and infrastructure to execute it, managing the client relationship from scoping through to final delivery at a very high standard.<\/li>\n<li>Be supported by the company&rsquo;s infrastructure: Partner-level strategy, a team of analysts you oversee for execution, plus marketing, finance and operational assistance, so your focus stays on selling, reviewing\/instructing analysts and signing.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with an entrepreneurial team of partners and staff; represent the brand to existing clients and develop new relationships to win new business.<\/li>\n<li>Work fully remotely. The only travel is when commercially logical (events or clients that grow revenue), typically pitched to the Partners for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Stay current on industry trends, and help build and improve our sales and valuation-execution tech stack.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><em>Candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>About the Firm<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>InteleK provides valuation services across compliance (taxation and financial reporting), transactions, strategic and exit planning, and litigation.<\/li>\n<li>We are specifically looking for a specialism that <strong>Andrew and Ryan<\/strong> (our current Selling &amp; Signing Valuers and partners) do not already cover, so that your arrival opens a new business line for the firm rather than duplicating what we do. The common thread across the purposes listed above is work carrying high review risk, where fees follow the quality of the opinion.<\/li>\n<li>The partners bring relationship and sales experience, plus a modern view of how to use technology and offshoring to enhance valuation execution and performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role pays a <strong>base salary plus an uncapped, formula-driven bonus<\/strong> on the net revenue you generate. The mechanics are straightforward:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Base salary is guaranteed<\/strong> and gives you stability while you build momentum. It is set according to your experience and the value you bring.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bonus begins once your production has covered your fully-loaded base cost to the firm<\/strong>, and everything beyond that threshold earns at a defined rate. Rates step up as your book grows, and leads you source yourself earn at a higher rate than firm-provided leads.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The formula is objective, not subjective<\/strong>, so you always know exactly where you stand and what the next dollar of revenue is worth to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Where we land on your base and bonus rates depends on the value you bring: whether you arrive with a material book or none at all, cultural fit, technological savviness, soft skills, ability to grow the book, risk of the book, and likely margins on that book. We will model the numbers with you during the process.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>How It Works and the Path to Partnership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Three-month onboarding, learning and training.<\/strong> We expect roughly three months to integrate into our infrastructure and all things InteleK, and to build real momentum, whether bringing your book over or starting your business-development journey.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Execute your business plan over a 12-month period.<\/strong> Beyond onboarding, your goal is to execute the business plan you defined to us in the interview, delivered across any 12-month period. The first window runs from <strong>month 4 to month 15<\/strong> (your first 12 months after onboarding).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hitting your plan triggers partnership discussions, if you want them.<\/strong> Executing on that plan over a 12-month period triggers discussions to bring you into our partnership at an equity level. We expect that process to take about four months, assuming you keep things moving from your side.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If targets are not hit, the status quo prevails.<\/strong> If you do not hit your targets within a 12-month period, the existing arrangement simply continues until you do hit them over a 12-month period.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send your CV along with a short video (between 60 and 180 seconds) on why you are a great fit for this role and excited to work with us.
