Jia Wu

Jia co-leads InteleK’s North American valuation practice, bringing over a decade of experience and hundreds of engagements across a diverse range of industries. Based in Reno, Nevada, her expertise spans gift and estate tax, ASC 805 purchase price allocations, ASC 820 fair value measurements, ASC 350 goodwill impairment, ASC 360 long-lived asset testing, IRC 409A stock compensation, ESOP valuations, fairness opinions, transactions, litigation support, and family law matters.

Prior to InteleK, Jia held senior valuation roles at SingerLewak (Manager), Marshall & Stevens (Manager), Globalview Advisors (Valuation Consultant), and JSI Telecommunications (Valuation Consultant), and founded Monument Valuations. She also served as a Senior Financial Analyst at LegalZoom (Nasdaq: LZ), where she supported the company through its IPO.

Jia holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation and the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV®) credential from the AICPA. She graduated Cum Laude from Cal Poly Pomona with a BS in Finance, Real Estate & Law, where she was recognized as President’s Scholar and Business Dean’s commencement honoree. She has passed the CFA Level I exam and is conversational in Cantonese and Mandarin.

A committed advocate for the profession, Jia has served since 2024 as Business Valuation Chair for the ASA NorCal Chapter. Under her leadership, the chapter earned Chapter of the Year in 2025. She also co-leads a multi-disciplinary mentorship program and regularly develops continuing education webinars and events.

Outside of work, Jia enjoys running, cycling, painting, and cultivating her garden.
